The Mission
Be the person who has flown something. Own vehicle-level requirements, budgets, and the path from our validated models to a procurable ESPA-class spacecraft, keeping every subsystem promise consistent with mass, power, and delta-v reality.
What You’ll Own
Own the shepherd system budgets: mass, power, propellant, link, thermal margins
Translate the thesis architecture into subsystem requirements and interface control documents
Lead bus and component trade studies toward Phase 1 procurement
Run design reviews and keep the technical baseline honest
Support agency and investor technical diligence
What We Need
Experience taking at least one smallsat or spacecraft from requirements through integration and test
Fluency in systems engineering practice (requirements flow-down, V&V, margin management)
Working knowledge across propulsion, power, comms, and structures at the vehicle level
Nice to Have
ESPA-class or rideshare mission experience
Servicing, docking, or deployables heritage
Prior startup or small-team environment
